Well basically it’s my net handle, I have used the net for a long time now and since I started using the net when I was just a teenager I felt it 100% necessary to find an “awesome” net handle, I went through a few in the early years but settle on “Diablos” or “GF Diablos” after playing well known video game Final Fantasy VIII.
Diablos was an ace summon (or Guardian Force as they were known in that installment, see what I did with the GF there?) and I really liked the idea of his character even though it was only slightly developed (maybe that’s why I liked him).
I ran with it from there, used Diablos as a chat alias as well as inside games and now it’s just habit. Some people may suggest I’m too old for net handle but you know, tough.
Who am I really then is the next logical question, well my real name is Craig Parker and I’m a SEM manager at a great Web Design and Development company called Soula, based in Nottingham England, just for the record this is my personal blog and nothing I mention here is at all affiliated with the place I work for, see my Terms & conditions for more info on the boring stuff.
As you have probably guessed by now I am a bit of a geek, my main “Geek Areas” are entertainment media and Search Engine Marketing (SEM). Oh, one more thing. In case you didn’t already know that’s Diablos in the picture, pretty badass right? This particular one was drawn by a kickass Deviant Art user known as MadMagus, check his gallery out sometime I’m sure you’ll be impressed. Thanks to him and the original commissioner of the drawing for letting me use it.
